About the Role

Dawsons has been awarded the contract to manage the entire Structural, Mechanical, and Piping (SMP) component for the new Crusher circuit installation at the Mt Carbine Tungsten Mine. We are seeking experienced and motivated SMP professionals to join our team for this major construction and installation project.

• Structural Fitter / Fabricators

• Mechanical Fitters

• Pipefitters

• Boilermakers / Welders

• Riggers & Crane Operators

What’s on Offer

• Flexible Rosters: Secure a minimum 2:1 roster, or talk to us about coordinating a longer roster if you want to maximize your earnings.

• Paid Induction Time: Receive 5.5 hours of pay (at Day Shift rates) upon successful completion and submission of your online pre-mobilization inductions.

• Local DIDO: Convenient Drive-In, Drive-Out roster directly from Mareeba.

Mandatory Site Requirements

To be considered for these roles, you must possess or be willing to obtain the following:

• Confined Spaces Qualification (Current within 2 years)

• Working Safely at Heights (Current within 2 years)

• Pre-Employment Medical including MMQ / RSHQ Respiratory Health Surveillance

• Instant Drug & Alcohol Screen (DAS) (Referral will be emailed upon successful application)

• Online Inductions: Must be completed on a desktop computer or laptop (not accessible via mobile/tablet).

⚠️ Note: The physical site walk-around and onboarding will be completed and paid on your first official day on-site.
