Dawsons Relining Services is a stand-alone division established in 2014 to complete our shutdown and maintenance offering. With well over 2000 relines completed, our success is underpinned by the experience of the old Pacific Relines crew. This experience combined with the strength of the Dawsons Group, means we can provide the complete Shutdown Support Service – from offsite fabrication and overhauls, through to execution of the shutdown and reline.
Our core reline crew has an average of seven years’ experience each, and has worked together throughout Australia and internationally. We specialise in relining, condition monitoring and reliability initiatives, inspection and reporting, crusher and feeder maintenance and rebuilds, screens and chutes, and related plant and equipment upgrades and overhauls

Rachelle Dray
Reline Labour Coordinator
Joining Dawsons as a Labour Hire Administrator in 2015, Rachelle was thrown in the deep end on her third week on the job, mobilizing to site as an administrator on our first Port Pirie Smelter Shutdown where she managed the 400 strong crew on site for 3 weeks. She smashed it. Since then, Rachelle has supported our shutdown crews in locations all around Australia and PNG. Rachelle is now putting her advanced man wrangling skills to the test sending our Reline Crews all over the country.
Damien Girgenti
Deputy General Manager
Damien (aka Damo) is the cool operator, calmly managing Dawsons operations in Mt Isa, South Australia, Dawsons Relines and whatever else we need him to pick up across the business. Arriving in Cairns from Victoria Mill in Ingham in 2005, Damien applied for work at Dawsons, hoping to get the opportunity to work in the mining industry. After a couple of years with the Dawsons crew at Groote Eylandt, Damien moved into a workshop facilitator, then quickly after that the Deputy GM role.
