This role is perfect for a multi-skilled operator who thrives on variety. Working within a fast-paced infrastructure and maintenance crew, you will pivot between crane operations, complex rigging lifts, and scaffolding builds depending on daily site requirements. The role operates on an 8/6 lifestyle roster, cleanly alternating between Day Shift (DS) and Night Shift (NS) blocks.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate mobile, crawler, or slewing cranes (up to your ticketed capacity) for lifting and structural placement.
• Plan and execute a wide range of basic to advanced rigging tasks, including lifting studies, slinging loads, and guiding crane movements.
• Erect, alter, and dismantle modular scaffolding structures to support routine site maintenance and shut window tasks.
• Inspect lifting gear, scaffolding components, and equipment pre- and post-shift to ensure complete compliance.
• Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance team under strict High-Risk Work (HRW) permit conditions.

High-Risk Work Licence (HRWL) Tickets & Requirements

To be successful in this multi-skilled crew, you will ideally hold a combination of the following:

• Crane Ticket: Current HRW Licence for Slewing Mobile Crane (C6, C1, or CO preferred) or Non-Slewing (CN).
• Rigging Ticket: Intermediate (RI) or Advanced (RA) Rigging High-Risk Licence.
• Scaffolding Ticket: Intermediate (SI) or Advanced (SA) Scaffolding High-Risk Licence.
• Construction Induction: White Card.
• Drivers Licence: Current valid Australian Manual C-Class driver's licence (Heavy Rigid / HR licence highly regarded).
• Confined space and Working at Heights within 2 years
• Fitness for Duty: Ability to pass a category-specific pre-employment medical, including standard functional fitness and a drug and alcohol screen.
