About the Role

This position offers an exceptional lifestyle balance with an 8/6 roster, meaning you get 6 full days at home every fortnight to enjoy the North Queensland lifestyle.

You will join a stable, supportive utilities team responsible for the preventative maintenance, fault finding, and breakdown repairs of camp infrastructure, commercial facilities, and water treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out routine preventative maintenance, testing, and inspections across commercial and residential camp infrastructure.

• Respond rapidly to reactive plumbing breakdowns, blocked drains, leak detections, and hot water system issues.

• Maintain camp water treatment plants and pumping systems (where qualified/trained).

• Ensure strict adherence to site health, safety, and environmental protocols.

• Accurate logging of work orders via digital asset management software.

What We Need from You:

• QLD Plumbing Licence: Current, unrestricted Queensland Plumbing and Drainage Licence.

• Construction Induction: White Card.

• Experience: Proven background in commercial maintenance, facility maintenance, or heavy industrial environments.

• Fitness for Duty: Ability to pass a comprehensive pre-employment medical, including a functional fitness assessment and drug & alcohol screening.

• Drivers Licence: Current valid Australian Manual C-Class driver's licence.

• Backflow / TMV: Endorsements for Backflow Prevention and Thermostatic Mixing Valves are highly regarded but not strictly mandatory.

• Confined space and working at heights
