New Century Mine (NCR) is located in Lawn Hill 250km North West of Mount Isa and focuses on the reprocessing of tailing and rehabilitation of existing disturbed areas, resulting in production and processing of Zinc.
Dawsons Engineering provides labour to NCR for Shutdowns and ongoing work opportunities. The site-specific requirements for this mine are:
- Online Inductions (1 - 1.5hrs)
- Full Medical incl. Drug and Alcohol (90 days), Audiometry and Spirometry (2 yrs) and FCE (2 years).
- Confined Space (5 yrs)
- Working at Heights (5 yrs)
- Police Certificate (12 months)
- FIFO - Cairns and Townsville
- Telstra only mobile phone coverage
As well as any accompanying certificates and licenses.
