Groote Eylandt Mine (GEMCO) is located in the Gulf of Carpentaria and produces high-grade manganese ore.
Dawsons Engineering provides Labour to GEMCO for Shutdowns consisting of a range of trades, operators and assistants.
Positions Required:
- Boilermakers
- Fitters & Turners
- Belt Fitters
- Riggers
- Gantry Operators
- Spotters
Site-Specific Requirements for Groote Eylandt Mine are:
- Confined Space
- Working at Heights
- Trade Certificate (if applicable)
- High Risk Work License & other applicable tickets
- Full Medical including Audiometry and Spirometry
- Instant Drug and Alcohol test
- Groote Online Inductions
- FIFO - Cairns, Brisbane & Darwin (Potential pick up from other major Airports)
