Dawsons is a lead engineering provider focused on steel fabrication, industrial piping, project management and mining support with our clients predominately from the mining, heavy industry, sugar, government and commercial sectors.

Due to our ever-increasing success, we have permanent opportunities for experienced Boilermakers to join our fabrication team in our Cairns workshop.

We're seeking tradesmen who can think ahead of the job, work autonomously when required and be proactive in their approach to work. The role is available for an immediate start working Monday to Friday with overtime on Saturday.

Candidates will require the following skill sets and attributes to be considered:

• Fabrication experience
• Previous heavy industry workshop experience
• Be able to interpret drawings/plans
• Attention to detail
• A commitment to safety
• Strong work ethic
