Construction, Asbestos Removal & Demolition

This project was to upgrade the existing lower river walking track which follows the river and provides multiple viewing locations. This walking track followed the existing alignment with the project scope including construction of three new pedestrian bridges, three viewing platforms, and the renewal of the walking track. The walking track renewal consisted of stone edging the walking track with decomposed granite rocks and sealing with Ezi-Street asphalt. Works were completed in a very environmentally sensitive area of the World Heritage Wet Tropics with no incidents.

The Princess Hills project involved the construction of 2 new 3 bedroom houses at Princess Hills Ranger Base. Works including; site preparation, supply of all materials, labour, tools and equipment to erect the new buildings. Works were completed within time and budget.

This project included the upgrade of 3 x manager residences located at River Drive, Weipa. Local resources and labour were used on this project to support the community. Works involved asbestos removal and the full refurbishment of each residence. Works were completed within time and budget.

The construction of the new toilet facility at the Tully Gorge Camping Ground including the completion of earth works, construction of concrete slab, installation of septic tank, filtration system, roof, plumbing, fixtures and fittings.

This project for Queensland Parks included site preparation and clearing, construction of new work shed 18m x 9m, concreting and asphalt works, installation of security fencing, fit out of work shed, and the removal of existing demountable building. All works were completed within time and budget.

The Wairuna project included asbestos removal to 4 buildings, demolition of 12 buildings/structures, structural upgrade of roof framing, roof replacements, installation of hydraulic services, installation of electrical, painting and general refurbishment and restoration works.

This project included the safe removal and disposal of the asbestos-cement ceiling sheeting from the footpath awning at the shop frontage located at Edith Street, Innisfail.

The projects work scope covered the removal and disposal of the identified asbestos containing vinyl tiles located in the kitchen and hallway of the Atherton Hospital. All works were completed on time and within budget.

This project involved the recording of heritage internal, safe removal of asbestos wall sheeting and roof sheeting, decontamination and clearance, the installation of a new roof, resheeting of external walls and painting works.

The demolition of the Old Incitec Shed included the demolition of the identified main shed and small shed including the removal of the slab, removal and disposal of existing metal sheeting / braces / posts, disposal of all collected timber and concrete waste and protection of the existing concrete slab by means of a sand / soil medium. All works were completed on time and within budget.
