Boilermaker Fabricator / Welder | Heavy Structural & Platework

About the Role

Fabricate and assemble heavy structural steel sections and heavy platework.
Interpret technical engineering drawings and structural blueprints accurately.
Perform high-quality welding (Flux-Cored Arc Welding / FCAW and GMAW) to strict structural standards.
Utilize heavy workshop machinery including grinders, oxy-cutters, and overhead cranes.
Maintain rigorous safety standards on-site and within the workshop environment.

Mandatory Site Requirements

• Trade Qualification: Australian Recognized Trade Certificate in Boilermaking / Heavy Fabrication.
• Proven Experience: Strong background working on heavy structural steel projects or mining/industrial platework.
• Technical Skills: Proficient in FCAW (Flux-Cored) welding and positional welding
• Attributes: Strong work ethic, precision workmanship, and excellent reliability.
