FIFO – SENIOR LABORATORY TECHNICIAN
Are you a Laboratory Technician with experience working at remote mine sites amongst small teams? Dawsons Engineering are on the search for a Lab Tech to join our team at a mine site in North-West Queensland. The right candidate for this role must have at least 3 years’ experience working in site-based mining operations, preferably with base metals analysis & XRF exposure. Quality training, supervision and mentoring of Laboratory Technicians is required and direct reports are provided.

Site Requirements
- Ability to pass full Pre-employment Medical including Drug and Alcohol testing
Required trades
- Wet chemistry knowledge (acid digestion).
- CCLAS LIMS experience is highly regarded.
- Strong computer skills in Excel (especially statistics) and Word.
- AAS
- Supervisory experience
