Mount Isa Mines Limited is located in North West Queensland in Mount Isa and is the hub of Glencore’s copper, lead, silver and zinc operations.
Dawsons Engineering provides labour to Mount Isa Mines on a regular basis consisting of a range of trades and assistants.
Site-Specific Requirements for Mount Isa Mines are:
- First Aid certificate
- CPR certificate
- Fire Team Operations
- Manual Handling
- Working at Heights
- Confined Space
- Online Inductions
- Full Pre-employment Medical incl. Drug, Alcohol and Blood Lead Testing
- Clean shaven in some parts of the mine
- FIFO/DIDO – Cairns, Townsville or Brisbane or locally from Mount Isa
As well as any accompanying certificates and licences.
